Apple's claims for G5 Mac branded 'unjustified'

The British Advertising Standards Authority has upheld a complaint against Apple UK and its advertising agency TBWA after the company ran adverts saying it was 'the world's fastest computer'. Mandrake has been given court approval to exit bankruptcy. France's Commerce Court accepted Mandrake's exit plan from 'redressement judiciaire' (Chapter 11-style bankruptcy protection) without amending the company's proposal, thus ending 14 months of financial restructuring. Microsoft and Google fight heats up

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is alleged to have thrown a chair across the room when he heard that a key Windows engineer was going to work with Google. The engineer, Mark Lucovsky, made the claim in a sworn statement to the court that is investigating whether another former Microsoft employee, Kai-Fu Lee, can take up a post at the search engine firm.
