AMD goes full steam ahead with Pacifica virtualisation

AMD has unveiled a full specification for its Pacifica virtualisation technology. The hope is to bring hardware and software partners on board to start developing products that will benefit from virtualisation, which will ensure demand exists once the technology is rolled out in earnest - billed for the first half of 2006. Orange has announced what it claims to be the world's smallest Smartphone, the SPV C500. Nestling in the palm of the hand, the device weighs in at a mere 100 grams and measures 108 x 46 x 16mm.
