Blu-ray blamed for PS3 November launch

Sony has dated the launch of the next generation PlayStation games console, the PS3, and it will be November of this year. Hopes of a spring launch have been derailed due to difficulties surrounding the Blu-ray technology, reports the BBC. It seems the announcement was forced after news of the delay surfaced in the Japanese financial newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun, although reports had been widespread - PlayStation 3 facing Blu-ray delay. ...more
