Yahoo!, one of the Internet's most conspicuous brands, is to make its first UK foray into broadband services following a deal with BT announced today. Wii proves gamer's choice in next-gen console war

The anticipated battle between Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3 for the console crown has become a sideshow to the unprecedented rise of Nintendo's Wii as the next-generation gaming hardware of choice. Music labels probed for price fixing

The four major record companies have been asked to submit information to a New York State inquiry into alleged price fixing for music downloads. Warner Music revealed that along with EMI, Sony BMG and Warner it had received a request from state attorney general Elliot Spitzer, who is thought to be looking primarily at record labels' pricing decision and for evidence, if it exists, that they have colluded.
