Microsoft has said it will publish the source code for a new security system, currently titled Palladium, which will be introduced into a future version of Windows, possibly as early as 2004. BT Yahoo! trumps Gmail with 2GB email accounts

BT Yahoo! has announced that all its broadband and most of its dial up customers will now get 2GB of email storage, 40 times the previous 50MB limit. Secondary accounts will also grow from 10 to 100MB. Other changes to the service include better sorting of webmail: 'greenlists' to ensure any emails from the people listed in the recipient's address book will get delivered to the inbox and not to the bulk mail folder, and changes to bulk email handling. ...more
