Twelve more arrests have followed investigations by the National Hi-Tech Crime Unit (HTCU) into the practice of 'Phishing', which involves duping online users to divulge bank account details (either by email or bogus websites). Apple could be the major beneficiary of yesterday's unexpected US Supreme Court ruling that peer-to-peer software makers can be held liable for illegal file sharing using their applications.
