Nildram, the UK's fastest ADSL broadband supplier, has launched two new high-speed services. dslXtra1000 and dslXtra2000 provide 1Mbit/sec and 2Mbit/sec downstream respectively, two and four times the speed of standard 512k ADSL services. Analyst backs Apple over iTunes sales figures

Symantec extends virus protection to PDAs

Security specialist Symantec Corp has announced that it will be launching a new range of anti-virus products for handhelds. The software aims to protect Palm OS and Microsoft Pocket PC PDAs from attacks by viruses, worms and other malicious code.
