Yahoo!, Symantec team up to take on Microsoft

Symantec has introduced its much trailed online security software suite targeting home users. The surprise is that Symantec has chosen to do so in partnership with online portal Yahoo! Named, somewhat prosaicly, 'Norton Internet Security provided by Yahoo!', the new suite of online tools is aimed at countering Microsoft's recent OneCare Live security suite. Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft under fire in Washington

America's technology giants have 'enthusiastically volunteered for China's censorship brigade'. UK online banks 'drag feet over security breach'

Four out of seven UK online banks have taken no action to close a security hole in their systems despite being warned of the dangers over a month ago.
