Yahoo! and BT team up for broadband bonanza
Yahoo!, one of the Internet's most conspicuous brands, is to make its first UK foray into broadband services following a deal with BT announced today.

BPI forces ISPs to provide file sharer details
The BPI has begun a second wave of lawsuits against alleged illegal file sharers. The UK music industry body has been granted a High Court order compelling ISPs to provide the names and addresses of 31 individuals.
ISPs now have 14 days to identify the individuals, based on IP addresses and log-on times provided by the BPI. ...more
Parallels simplifies installation for Windows-on-a-Mac software
Parallels has added a new installation assistant to its Desktop for Mac software that enables Macs to run PC operating systems at the same time as OS X.
The assistant provides an 'Express Windows OS Installation Mode' for Windows XP and Windows Vista, which automates the virtual machine set-up and Windows installation processes.
Users select which Windows version they plan to use, enter their name, company information and Windows activation key and then installation is completely automated, requiring no user interaction. ...more
