Nvidia nForce Professional aims for the workstation market

Nvidia is extending its PCI-Express range of products to server and workstation platforms. Following the desktop versions delivered at the end of last year, the new Professional media and communications processors (MCPs) are, according to Nvidia, the 'only PCI-Express core-logic solutions for AMD Opteron processor-based platforms'. Office workers still dumbfounded by computers

Fourteen per cent of office workers don't know how to switch computers on and off, a survey by UK training organisation City & Guilds has found. And the problems don't stop there. Apple and Cisco agree to new iPhone talks

Apple and Cisco have agreed to further talks aimed at finding an out-of-court settlement over the disputed iPhone trademark. 'Apple and Cisco have agreed to extend the time for Apple to respond to the lawsuit to allow for discussions between the companies with the aim of reaching agreement on trademark rights and interoperability,' they said in a brief statement.
