Microsoft has taken the lid of the latest version of its operating system for mobile and embedded devices at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Francisco. Adobe has updated several versions of its Acrobat and Reader software to address a highly critical security vulnerability. The update concerns a vulnerability that potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system. BT promises 4,000 hotspots by summer 2004
