Motorola signs up for Opera technology
Motorola has signed a licensing deal with Opera that will see the latter's Web browsing technology deployed in Motorola's handsets in what the company calls its personal communications sector (PCS).
As well as using Opera's browser, Motorola has also licensed the Opera Platform, which will enable content providers to deliver dynamic, tailored content direct to the handsets.
'We find Opera to be a great option for Web browsing solutions for mobile handsets,' said Ruchi Mangalik, director of software portfolio for Motorola PCS. ...more
