This is a website that specialises in streaming live concert performances from the 1960s and 70s. NEC has unveiled a new super-thin battery that can be charged in just 30 seconds. The 300 micron thick organic radical battery (ORB) uses a flexible polymer as its cathode and is thin enough to be installed in smartcards and intelligent paper. Motorola signs up for Opera technology

Motorola has signed a licensing deal with Opera that will see the latter's Web browsing technology deployed in Motorola's handsets in what the company calls its personal communications sector (PCS). As well as using Opera's browser, Motorola has also licensed the Opera Platform, which will enable content providers to deliver dynamic, tailored content direct to the handsets.
