Nokia and RealNetworks are developing a system that will allow mobile phones to play multimedia files on demand and over the Internet. The Web/Real-based services will be available to personal and car stereos by next year, according to RealNetwork's senior vice president Len Jordan. Nildram joins capping ISPs

Nildram is the latest ISP to launch 'capped' 512Kbps broadband services, though it prefers the term 'pay as you go'. Two packages are available: 'dslSurf 500 PAYG time' which provides up to 50 hours connection time per month and 'dslSurf 500 PAYG data' which allows for 1Gbit of downstream traffic each month. New Opterons for single and eight-way systems

AMD has announced the 100 and 800 series of releases for its its 64-bit Opteron processor. They relate to single and up to eight-way systems, complementing the 200 series for dual processor systems that was originally launched.
