Intel hears the 64bit call

According to a report on Reuters, an Intel chief has been making encouraging noises about desktop support for 64-bit processing. Paul Ottelini, Intel's president and COO, is quoted as saying 'You can be fairly confident that when there is software from an application and operating system standpoint that we'll be there.' AMD Athlon FX-53 puts the boot into Pentium EE
