Yoggie hails security on a stick

The innovative start-up firm Yoggie has unveiled what it claims is the world's first full security suite on a USB stick. The company claims the Yoggie Pico device will screen all internet traffic before it reaches the PC, and without impinging on the computer's processing power. T-Mobile maps out coverage

T-Mobile is offering a network coverage checking tool via its website, to better advise potential users of the services available in particular locations. Dubbed StreetCheck, it generates a visual guide to the strength of 2G and 3G coverage on the basis of a user-supplied post code. Symantec granted patent for detection of mutating viruses

Security company Symantec says it has developed a new weapon in the battle against viruses, Trojans and worms. It has been granted a patent in the US for what it is terming 'data detection of viruses' in order to combat the increasing sophistication of modern malware.
