Apple has introduced Aperture, a new application that it describes as the first all-in-one post production tool for professional photographers based on RAW images. RAW images are maintained natively throughout Aperture without any intermediate conversion process, and can be retouched using a suite of adjustment tools designed especially for photographers. New phishing flaw found in Opera

Secunia Advisory 11901 notes that the issue may be caused due to a race condition and will sometimes make it possible to display spoofed information in the address bar via a specially crafted HTML document. Red Hat appoints new CFO

Red Hat has appointed its CFO to replace the sudden departure of Kevin Thompson two months ago. Charlie Peters is the new head of finance at the leading Linux distributor and takes the title Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Samsung turns to Nokia for mobile software
