21st century bullying, a modern menace

UK charity claims one in four youngsters subject to bullying by threatening emails or text messages. According to a survey commissioned by the children's charity NCH, bullying by means of mobile phones and PCs is widely prevalent. Netscape market share drops 40 per cent

Netscape's share of the Web browser market has fallen from 12 to seven per cent over the past seven months according to new figures. BT has officially announced its unmetered Internet access package - it's called "BTinternet Anytime" and will cost you a monthly fixed fee of ?14.99. Available from January 2001, the package includes 10Mb of Webspace for building Web sites and one year's use of the Web filtering software CyberPatrol. ...more

UK games chart: Cars races to number one

The Disney PIXAR movie spin-off Cars, deposes Prey from the top of this week's ELSPA games chart. The cartoon racing adventure game from THQ is multi-format - DS, GBA, GC, PC, PS2, PSP, Xb, Wii and X360) - and has 10 playable characters from the film covering 50 races.
