eBay to launch contextual advertising programme

In a surprise move, auction site eBay has announced that it is to roll out its own contextual advertising programme to be called AdContext. Websites that sign up to the affiliate programme will receive a share of between 35 to 60 per cent of the sales, depending on the volume. Vodafone launches pay-as-you-go 3G card

Vodafone has announced the release of the UK's first prepay 3G/GPRS data card, for connecting wirelessly to the Internet from a laptop. The PCMCIA card works in the 65 per cent of the UK that has 3G coverage and in 13 other countries worldwide with a 3G network plus some 20 with GPRS support.
