McDonalds makes a meal of Nintendo Net access

Nintendo and McDonald's have struck a deal to offer gamers free Internet access in restaurants across the US. The service means that owners of the Nintendo DS console will be able to grab a burger while they play selected games against people around the world - without paying a fee, reports the BBC. McDonald's already offers wireless Internet access for laptops in 6,000 of its US restaurants at a charge, but Nintendo are the first to provide a complimentary connection for its customers at the fast-food chain. ...more

eMusic has announced that it now has 250,000 subscribers to its two million song music download service. The website sells DRM-free, MP3s from independent labels, including some songs available with copy-protection on Apple's iTunes.
