AMD wins over Dell for desktops AMD has confirmed a new deal with Dell that will see the Texan company shipping desktop machines powered by AMD as well as some Opteron-based servers. Italy looks likely to be fashionably late, but seems to have charmed the EU into accepting a date of 31 July for its compliance. ...more SCO meets IBM Interrogatories deadline, waiting on other information SCO has filed a 'Notice of Compliance with Court Order' in response to the order to compel discovery granted to IBM, but says that due to 'certain officers and directors' being away for Christmas there are some files it expects to submit at a later date. In SCO's press release it describes its response as only answering 'certain interrogatories', and in the notice it says it may need to 'supplement or amend' its answers to the interrogatories as the investigation continues.
