EMI boss dispels Net music myths

EMI chief Tony Wadsworth has defended the UK music industry against its seemingly increasing number of critics by attempting to dispel his 'Top 10 myths and misunderstandings'. Writing in the Guardian, Wadsworth says that record companies are not anti-downloading or anti file sharing technologies. IDF Fall 2003: Bulverde showcased as next-gen XScale processor

The successor to Intel?s XScale processor, 'Bulverde', was showcased today at the Mobile Technology keynote at IDF. And multimedia muscle is Intel's pitch for this future element of its Personal Client Architecture. Panasonic has announced two new gadgets for its 'e-wear' generation: a tiny multimedia player/recorder (SV-AV10) and the 'industry's smallest' mobile printer (SV-P10). The SV-AV10 is a pocket-sized plaything that lets you play music recorded onto an SD or MMC card (an 8Mb SD card is supplied) in MP3 or AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) formats.
