Apple delays Leopard release until October Apple has announced that Mac OS X 10.5 will not be released, as previously expected, in June, but has been delayed until October. In a statement the company explained that in order to meet its June deadline for the release of the iPhone, many development resources that would otherwise have been deployed on Leopard have instead been deployed on the widescreen iPod-phone-Internet communicator. ...more 4GB DDR memory sticks in volume production Samsung says its 1Gbit DDR memory is the first to receive Intel endorsement and is already in mass production in DIMMs of up to 4GB in capacity. The 4GB registered DIMMs will be produced for high-end machines - servers, workstations and so on - but even the humble desktop will see 2GB sticks, of the unbuffered variety, and SODIMMs for notebooks will also be produced to this capacity.
