Philips has canned the stroboscopic backlight in its flat televisions in favour of LED technology This puts an end to the technology designed to dramatically reduce motion blur and smear on flat LCD televisions, a notorious problem with those types of TV sets. MusicForMe has cracked the DRM designed to restrict access to Allofmp3's Music for Masses, just days after the free music streaming service was launched. Music for Masses - which stretches Allofmp3's highly dubious legality to new limits - provides free access to the Russian company's entire music catalogue.
