IBM recalls 553,000 laptop power adaptors

IBM is to recall more than half a million power adaptors for a number of ThinkPad laptop models, due to a risk of them overheating and creating fire and electrical hazards. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission says it has received numerous complaints of the adaptors overheating causing damage to the surroundings. Virgin Mobile to trial TV to mobile phone service

Mobile telco Virgin Mobile is the latest company to announce that it is to pilot a mobile phone TV service. The company has partnered with BT Livetime to develop the service that is being piloted to around 1,000 Virgin Mobile customers within the M25.
