Household names hold sway over UK internet access

The latest Oftel report on UK Internet usage for February 2003 shows that consumers opt for familiar names when it comes to choosing a broadband supplier. The latest figures show that Internet connections are on the rise, up to 45 per cent from the steady 42 per cent of the past nine months. Intel reports sales up a fifth

Intel has reported record revenues for its third quarter financial results. Sales of $9.96 billion represent an 18 per cent increase year-on-year, and they put Intel in the black to the tune of $2 billion, up 5 per cent on the same period a year ago. ...more

Microsoft promises Critical fixes for Patch Tuesday

Microsoft has said it will be pushing out six security fixes for its Windows operating system in October's Patch Tuesday bulletin release.
