Apple CEO Steve Jobs says that the company has no plans to introduce a tablet-style Mac, describing them as 'niche' devices. Interviewed on stage at the D:All Things Digital 'executive conference', Jobs said that Apple had taken a look at the tablet - a notebook computer into which data can be entered by writing or drawing on the screen - and thinks it is going to fail.
