Cable and Wireless to unbundle 400 exchanges across UK

Cable and Wireless claims it is poised to take advantage of local loop unbundling in the UK. The company aims to unbundle up to 400 exchanges or 30 per cent of the total by the second half of 2005 at a cost of ?40-?50mn.
