Dell bucks industry trend with sales boost

Dell Computer, the number two PC hardware manufacturer, blew away the gloom surrounding the rest of the computer business with an 18% rise in worldwide product shipments in the second quarter. BBC preps Bluetooth broadcast

Radio 1 will make the BBC's first Bluetooth broadcast on Sunday, at the Chart Show Live event in London's Shepherd's Bush. The audience will be able to download interviews, pictures, backstage footage and exclusive video content to their mobile phones. Government allocates ?5 million to fight copyright infringement

The UK Government has allocated ?5 million to fund Trading Standards' investigations into copyright infringement. Following a recommendation by the Gowers Review into intellectual property, the Department of Trade and Industry granted new powers to Trading Standards Officers under Section 107A of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, giving those officers the authority from 6 April to make test purchases and to enter premises and seize goods and documents.
