Danish court blocks access to Allofmp3.com

A Danish court has ordered telecoms company Tele 2 to block Internet access to the controversial Russian music downloads site Allofmp3.com. NV35 likely to be Nvidia's first orders at IBM

The orders Nvidia may start placing at IBM are said to be the company's new NV35 chip, an updated version of Nvidia's current top-end GeForce FX 5800 series (NV30) chip, sources said, as Nvidia's cooperation with IBM is aimed at the latter's high-end process technology. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), Nvidia's long-time foundry partner, will continue manufacturing the larger-amount, lower-end GeForce FX 5600 (NV31) and GeForce FX 5200 (NV34) chips. Software fraudsters convicted and sentenced

Three men have been handed custodial sentences totalling ten years for their part in a UK-based multi-million pound software-counterfeiting racket. Southwark Crown Court, on Friday, saw the conviction of Londoners Sikander Qureshi, Shaheen Parveen and Zafar Ahmed for the selling of counterfeited Microsoft CDs. They were caught following the interception a package - sent from a business address in Thailand - that contained hundreds of counterfeit CDs destined for Mr Qureshi's accountancy practice. ...more
