BenQ: IT industry will continue to prosper until 2005

The current rebound in sales of consumer electronics products in the European markets, including Britain, Germany and the Netherlands, should be able to ignite a robust growth in sales of commerce-used IT products through 2005, KY Lee, chairman of Taiwan-based BenQ, said at an investors conference on October 30. Lee, who just wound up a visit to BenQ's distributors in Europe, said the current upturn in Europe was fueled by consumers' confidence on a fast recovery of the global economy. Adobe chastens Windows-favouring author

Adobe has disowned the anti-Mac comments made by one one of its employees in a recent book.
