Adobe to put Photoshop online

Adobe has revealed that it plans to release a Web-based version of Photoshop within six months. CEO Bruce Chizen said in an interview that the service is likely to be free, funded by advertising, and will offer an entry-level toolset without diluting the Photoshop brand. In its latest report on the state of the blogosphere, blogging growth has stayed on course, with a new blog appearing every second on average and numbers doubling every five and a half months. Microsoft to appeal Korean anti-trust demands

Microsoft says it will appeal the Korean Federal Trade Commission's decision to order it to produce versions of Windows without messaging or media player capabilities in order to comply with antitrust laws. The KFTC ruled in December 2005 that Microsoft had abused its dominant position, fining it $32mn in addition to requiring messaging- and media player-free versions of Windows. The sanctions apply for 10 years, with a review after half that time. ...more
