UK games chart: Need for Speed rams GTA aside

The battle of car-based chaos continues with EA's Need For Speed: Underground 2 climbing to the top of this week's ELSPA UK games chart, edging out last week's number one Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Completing the top five are EA Sport's FIFA 2005, recovering from six to three, Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 4, up to four from eight, and Microsoft's Xbox game, Halo 2, slips one place to number five. New Intel compiler support for Prescott

Intel Corporation has released its next generation of C++ and Fortran compilers for its whole range of processors. The company claims that it provides a single environment for development for Itanium, Xeon, Pentium and Intel Personal Internet Client Architecture for mobile phones and PDAs.
