Apple fires up the iPod Hi-Fi

Apple has taken a bold step into the already crowded iPod accessories market with the introduction of a stereo speaker system, the iPod Hi-Fi. The Hi-Fi is compatible with both the iPod and iPod nano, which simply plug into the universal dock connector on top of the speaker unit, and it includes the infrared remote that Apple introduced last year, working to a range of over 9m.
