Research In Motion, the company behind the popular Blackberry wireless email handheld is breathing a sigh of relief. The company has announced that the US Patent Office has issued 'non-final actions' against two of the patents held by technology company NTP. Palm announces MP3 package

Palm has announced a digital music package for its m100 and m105 handhelds, incorporating the port?son MP3 player and Liquid Player Plus software. The port?son is an MP3 player that 'snaps on' to the back on the Palm, with 32 or 64MB of built-in flash memory expandable via a SD/MMC flash card expansion port. When connected to a Palm it can be used with Liquid Player Plus to import music, rip music from CDs and manage play lists and burn CDs via the port?son's USB connection. ...more
