Microsoft leaks release date for Whistler

Microsoft has set the internal date for the final version of Whistler at 18 April 2001, according to an internal e-mail. ZDNet News reports that the e-mail says the final version of the follow up to Windows 2000 will be minted in the spring and in the shops in the second half of 2001. BT signs C4 to Net TV offering

BT has signed up Channel 4 to its TV service, BT Vision. After the December launch of the set-top-box-based service, the likes of Shameless, Queer As Folk, Jamie's School Dinners and Father Ted will be available on-demand from the Channel 4 archive, via Channel 4's on demand service 4oD.
