Apple plans mail-in rebate scheme

Apple is planning a mail-in rebate scheme for Power Mac G4 Cubes and its range of displays, according to a report on MacCentral. The rebate, which applies in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America, is part of a marketing promotion and will mean that customers buying an eligible machine will also receive a coupon entitling them to a $300 rebate when returned to Apple.
