Scientists claim screen colour breakthrough Swiss scientists have developed and produced a computer and TV screen capable of producing the full spectrum of colours within white light, rather than the restricted palette displayed by current technologies. The prototype displays pixels that change colour as a underlying polymer is activated by an electrical current, allowing different wavelengths of light to escape from the screen.
