Thirteen arrested for downloading child pornography Police raids throughout England and Scotland today have resulted in the arrest of 13 people. In what is thought to be the UK's largest operation of its kind, 13 police forces, co-ordinated by the Metropolitan Police Paedophile Unit, seized 27 computers and photographic, video and magazine material, in addition to the arrests. The EC has until 24 October to reach a decision, but industry experts had predicted that a definite decision would be reached much earlier.
