Ericsson sees red, warning of gloomy first quarter results

Telecom equipment manufacturer Ericsson has warned that its downwards revision of first quarter results, a couple of weeks ago, wasn't pessimistic enough. The original revision took it down from revenue growth of 15 per cent to just breaking even, but now it says we should expect pre-tax losses of between $407 and $509m. Thomson Directories has officially launched its printed Web address directory and announced that it will proceed with a second edition before the end of the year.
