MP3 player market maturing - Ipsos Insight

A new study on MP3 players and the American market indicates that 20 per cent of those aged 12 and older now own a portable MP3 player (an increase on the 15 per cent of one year ago and the 11 per cent of 2003), with 6 per cent owning more than one portable MP3 player. Google Adsense to accept image ads

Google is to expand its AdSense pay per click scheme to include image ads. The search engine is currently piloting a scheme so that websites can include a variety of standard advertising formats as animated GIFs Amongst the sizes accepted under the pilot scheme are Banners at 468 x 60 pixels, Leaderboards at 728 x 90, Inline Rectangles 300 x 250 and Skyscrapers 120 x 600. Iomega join forces with SONICblue

A strategic alliance has been announced between media specialists Iomega and SONICblue, which markets the RIO range of portable MP3 players. The deal means that Iomega's existing PocketZip drive technology will be a feature of new SONICblue products.
