New p2p service uses Gmail storage

Ever wondered what you might do with the 2GB storage provided by Google's Gmail service? A Dutch student Robbie Groenewoudt has come up with a novel solution. His new service, known as G2G Exchange combines the storage capacity of Gmail with p2p technology to create a new file-sharing service. Dell foresees gloom and then doom

Dell has moved to lower earnings expectations by issuing a profits warning for its fourth quarter. And the outlook is so tight that its CEO has forecast that at least two of the current top ten PC makers will be out of business by the end of the year. AMD cues September launch of Athlon64

According to leaks of AMD's release schedule the Athlon64 processor will be launched 22 September, when the Athlon64-M mobile processor will also be appearing. AMD has already entered the world of 64-bit computing with its Opteron server processor, the industry's first 64-bit, x86 architecture.
