Independent labels agree to podcasts UK independent record labels have given the go-ahead for their music to be included in podcasts, whether from commercial broadcasters or bedroom enthusiasts. The six-month trial licence will permit the inclusion of as many tracks as podcasters wish from the inventory made available by individual members of the Association of Independent Music (AIM). The announcement is not much of a surprise - the Rupert Murdoch-owned studio is a member of the Blu-ray Disc Association - but it is another sign that the imminent battle between the two high definition disc formats is beginning to heat up.
