Flash memory iPod rumours surface again

Rumours that Apple is preparing to enter the market for MP3 players using flash memory have surfaced again. AppleInsider reports that Yasuo Morimoto, senior executive vice-president at Toshiba, told the China Daily that Toshiba will begin selling flash memory to Apple in early 2005. After a year or so of debate Yahoo! has finally decided to tackling the problems of spam and phishing by pressing ahead with the DomainKeys on its Yahoo! Mail. The DomainKeys technology developed by Yahoo! on the principle of encryption of authentication between mail servers. Blu-ray.com: 'AACS has failed'

A leading advocate of the Blu-ray high-definition optical disc format has strongly criticised the organisation responsible for the AACS technology designed to prevent unauthorised copying of both Blu-ray discs and those encoded in the rival HD DVD format. 'Josh', who runs the Blu-ray.com website, said that the decision by the AACS LA [Advanced Access Content System Licensing Authority] to send 'cease and desist' letters to websites that posted or linked to an encryption key for HD DVD discs has been entirely counter-productive. ...more
