E-minister Patricia Hewitt has said that new regulator Ofcom will have less of a cosy relationship with BT than its predecessor Oftel. CD-ROM launched to save relationships A CD-ROM version of a well-known book about personal relationships is due to be launched three weeks before Valentine's day. Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus contains the whole text of the original book plus video footage of "frustrating day-to-day scenarios that can break down relationships". AMD's mobile road

The latest news from the Via Technology Forum 2000 in Taipei is AMD's announcement of its roadmap for its mobile chips.
