Mozilla puts $500 bounty on 'most wanted' bug arrests

Users of Mozilla software who come across critical security bugs in the program are being encouraged to report the problems to Mozilla - and receive a $500 bounty per bug. The bounty programme has been introduced with backing from venture capitalist Mark Shuttleworth and from Linux distro Lindows. Apple back in profit

Apple has returned to profit in the last financial quarter. For the three months ending 29 March 2003 the company made a $14m profit, having lost $8m in the previous quarter. Intel is flagging its virtual processor Vanderpool technology again, releasing a preliminary Vanderpool Technology External Architecture Specifications (EAS) and urging industry-wide collaboration. This virtualisation - with multiple applications or operating systems running in independent partitions - allows one physical computer to serve as multiple 'virtual' systems.
