Microsoft asks for antitrust delay

Microsoft has asked for more time and longer hearings from the US Court of Appeals in its antitrust case. The software firm has requested 60 days and 56,000 words in which to make its case, with the US government getting the same. There seems to be a mobile handset for every type of user, in every possible hue, and with huge differences in function - from those with colour screens and email capabilities down to cheap phones that function as, well, phones. But how difficult is it to judge exactly which handsets will get the public's pulses racing? 'Very' is the answer, according to market research conducted by mLoop, an independent online exchange for dual-band GSM handsets. Abbey National's Cahoot has been voted the best online credit card by research firm Gomez. Credit card services were judged on overall cost, ease of use, customer confidence, on-site resources and relationship services. Search Engine Strategies 2007: Microsoft lifts veil on AdCenter search tools

Despite a relatively slow start compared to rivals Google and Yahoo!, Microsoft has come out fighting with plans for a new generation of tools for its AdCenter contextual advertising service.
