Pfizer plans to sue 'dozens' of illegitimate online pharmacies and spam emailers that offer counterfeit and generic Viagra. Jeff Kindler, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Pfizer, said that the company is launching dozens of suits in a bid to seize the domains and illegal products of such pharmacies and close them down. Security firm, Symantec is targeting the threat posed by phishing and identity theft to home users with a new suite of software. Essentially, it aims to provide additional security when making financial transactions online.
