Bogus Viagra websites face stiff legal challenge

Pfizer plans to sue 'dozens' of illegitimate online pharmacies and spam emailers that offer counterfeit and generic Viagra. Jeff Kindler, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Pfizer, said that the company is launching dozens of suits in a bid to seize the domains and illegal products of such pharmacies and close them down. Hush beefs up its Mini-ITX

Hush has extended its range of Mini-ITX PCs with a machine based on the VIA EPIA Mini-ITX SP13000 mainboard. As well as the machine's small size, Hush emphasises the machine's relative quietness. Asus wants a slice of the burgeoning GPS-enabled PDA market with its latest handhelds. The MyPal A636 and A632 boast the SiRF Star III GPS chip for GPS capabilities and a swivel antennae that folds discreetly away when not in use. Symantec software targets Phishers

Security firm, Symantec is targeting the threat posed by phishing and identity theft to home users with a new suite of software. Essentially, it aims to provide additional security when making financial transactions online. The new software, to be known as Norton Confidential, is designed to operate in real time to check visited web sites and scan for Trojans and keystroke loggers before any data can be transmitted. ...more
