Micron to offer 2Gbit NAND flash by year-end
Micron Technology today announced that it will begin offering 90nm, 2Gbit NAND flash chips by the end of this year. The new product will target memory cards, USB devices and other mass storage applications.

LaCie provides FireWire 800 via PC card
LaCie has announced a PC card adapter for laptops that provides two FireWire 800 and one FireWire 400 ports.
The adapter is supplied with an external power supply, which if fitted provides bus power up to 18W to all three ports, effectively replacing three separate external power supplies.
